The BLOODKNIGHTS Project
|How it Started
The Bloodknights idea came from a idea for a battle robot that I had in the mid
90's, I showed the design to a few friends and they said that it would make a
great comic book. They being experts on comic books told me I should do it in a
style like that of the Punisher, very dark and violent so I did a little
research on comics of that style and started to create characters and draw the
comic in that dark style. I thought it was a little too dark so I added some
jokes into the comic to lighten it up, course I am not a comedian so they are
bad jokes but I thought they were funny. Many years later I decided to revive
the idea and try to make an animated movie, I worked on learning how to use
animation software called Lightwave but after a while of playing around with
the software I figured out how to model the characters but animating them
proved rather difficult. I tried to find classes on the program in my area but
being in the New England area I have not been to find any classes to suit my
needs. I decided to at lest devolop the story for the movie, but working mostly
during my lunch and what little spare time I had it has taken me many years to
finish the storyboarding for the movie. But now the storyboards are complete
and I have put together a DVD of the movie and are now trying to find a
animation studio with the expertise and resources it takes to bring the the
story to life.
Below is the character profiles and the comics of the original idea that I
decided was too dark as well as other drawings and models that I have done to
develop the movie.
This was the original concept for the battle robot that I had
Here is what the original art for the comic book looked like.
The Bloodknights were created by Micheal Bloodworth who is the son of Martin
Bloodworth and heir to the Bloodworth corporation. The Bloodworth corporation
is a company that deals with high tech cybernetics. Micheal Bloodworth's
parents were killed by a ruthless business tycoon named Kuma Sakki who tried
acquire the company but found Martin Bloodworth was unwilling to sell his
corporation. So Sakki decided to kill the entire family and arranged the plane
to crash while the family was on route to see the brown bears in Alaska to make
he takeover of the company easier. The plane crashed on the way to see the
bears in Alaska's Katmailand national park killing the parents of Michael
Bloodworth but Michael survived. Michael was rescued by some photographers that
were out looking for bears and brought back home.
Michael being 15 at the time of the crash inherited the company but all the
stocks he owned was frozen until he reached 18. After the incident the company
took a turn for the worse and Kuma Sakki lost interest in it feeling that it
was no long worth acquiring. As Micheal grew up he spent all his time
re-establishing the company and learning about cybernetics. Now at age 30 the
Bloodworth company has become the number one leading company in cybernetic
research. Micheal now having developed cybernetics that allow he to take
revenge on Kuma Sakki Launches attacks on Sakki's company it an attempt to find
and kill Sakki for killing his parents years ago.
Micheal Bloodworth chose animals for the research for because of his interest
in wildlife and because animals don't fall under any human rights laws. Micheal
did not want to kill any of the animals for the research but found that if he
got the animal carcass within a day or two of death he could revive the brain
using cybernetic implants. These implants also helped to enhance the
intelligence of the animal allow Micheal to teach language and concepts that
are common to humans.

Avalanche has a carefree and playful attitude toward life, he fears almost
nothing, much like a normal polar bear. He often likes to joke around and watch
animal planet (for the educational value :o) ) and likes to be in the middle of

Michael has spent most of his life creating these robots to stop Kuma Sakki and
get his revenge for his parents death.
Jetstream has a very polite and sophisticated personallity and finds mammals to
be rather odd. He has taken an interest in human air and space craft and has
been become quite knowledgable about them.
Wildfire has a snobbish attitude and considers herself above the rest. This
attitude causes some conflicts with her and and teh others in the group. She
dislikes the fact that Avalanche finds her attractive because she thinks the
arctic and it's inhabitants are savages.
Shadow has become cold and bitter towards life, he has strong violent
tendencies and often unnecessary violence and likes to destroy things. He likes
to be alone contrary to normal wolf behavior, this attitude sometimes causes
conflicts amongst the team. But he is more than willing to help a team member
in trouble, probably so he can destroy something.
